India Snelling
Programme Officer
India Snelling joined ICMM in June 2020 as a Programme Support Officer for a one-year placement during her undergraduate degree, and re-joined as a Programme Officer in July 2022.
India has a degree in International Relations with Global Development from the University of Portsmouth. India's dissertation researched the motivations and representations of rape during war, with a particular focus on patriarchal norms, the intersection of ethnicity and religion and the role of identity. Her studies also included gender in the developing world, aid and development, human rights and security challenges in the 21st century.
At ICMM, India currently works across Social Performance and Environment projects including Biodiversity, Nature, Human Rights & Indigenous Peoples, DEI, and Community Resilience.
