Hayley Zipp

Hayley Zipp joined ICMM in April 2014 and is a director for our environment programme. Her key areas of focus include water stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and mine closure.

Prior to joining ICMM Hayley worked for a London-based sustainability consultancy. She supported clients in developing and implementing their sustainability strategy as well as providing in-house technical support for driving improved environmental performance on the ground.

Hayley has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London where she specialised in ecological management. Her dissertation was on the role of effective stakeholder engagement in community adoption of agroforestry initiatives in the Peruvian Amazon. She also holds a BA Honours degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Johannesburg.
