The London Indaba

CEO Rohitesh Dhawan will be speaking at The London Indaba on current and future supply and demand and the opportunities for Africa to provide a reliable, ethical and environmentally sustainable supply
The launch of the Inaugural London Indaba on “investing in resources and mining in Africa”, kicks off on 26 & 27 June 2023 at The InterContinental Park Lane London. Brought to you by the organisers of the renowned Joburg Indaba, the 2023 London Indaba will focus on Africa’s critical role in the minerals and metals of the future.
Africa is home to many of the world's essential minerals and metals including PGMs, gold, copper, cobalt, nickel, lithium, graphite, rare earths, vanadium, manganese, coal, to name but a few, and many African countries have these in abundance. African countries will continue to play a vitally important role in supplying the many important minerals and metals needed for our future society.
At the same time, the imperatives of decarbonization, transition to a green economy and goal of net zero have sparked a substantial spike in interest in mining from the international investment community in recent times, and geopolitical concerns and increasingly limited supply are encouraging many countries to diversify their supply chains and incentivise the extraction and processing of minerals and metals.
Over two days, The London Indaba will discuss Africa’s minerals and metals, their current and future supply and demand and interrogate the opportunities for African countries to provide a reliable, ethical and environmentally sustainable supply to both meet global demand and satisfy what investors are looking for when investing in African projects and mining companies:
Brought to you by the team behind the Joburg Indaba, the 2023 London Indaba will take its trademark bold, blunt yet constructive approach to tackling these issues, full of promise for the myriad of opportunities available to mining companies, investors, governments and all stakeholders.
Join our CEO Rohitesh Dhawan in these lively conversations on opportunities for Africa to provide a reliable, ethical and environmentally sustainable supply.
