ICMM CEO Rohitesh Dhawan will be speaking on a panel at IUCN's 2022 Leaders Forum which will be focusing on building nature-positive economies and societies.

The IUCN Leaders Forum Jeju 2022 explores the theme 'Building nature-positive economies and societies'. It will take place at the International Convention Centre Jeju, Republic of Korea, from 13 to 15 October 2022. The event will include leaders’ dialogues (high-level plenaries), networking (formal and informal), informal business meetings, pitch events, and other opportunities for leaders and changemakers from across sectors to connect and build partnerships to catalyse action.

Join ICMM's CEO Rohitesh Dhawan in the discussion on what is a Nature-Positive Approach? What are the key building blocks, principles and concrete actions which organisations and governments can take to become nature-positive? How can nature-positive solutions not only minimise the impact of our economic activities but also enhance ecosystems? How do we monitor and measure this impact?

The session will launch IUCN’s Working Paper on the Nature-Positive Approach, which proposes a means for companies and organisations to deliver measurable contributions to nature-positive, evaluate their actual and targeted performance in relation to nature, and align themselves with the goals of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework and wider policy and reporting frameworks.
