Social risks in the spotlight in Panama

ICMM’s Christine Copley attended the workshop “Mining for Success – Social Risks and Responsible Mining Practices” in Panama, where she presented the ICMM Good Practice Guidance on Mining and Biodiversity to an audience of over 100.

Participants included exploration and mining companies, NGOs and international financial institutions from across the Americas, keen to share experiences in addressing social and environmental risks around mining in Latin and Central America.
