Freeport McMoRan’s ICMM membership

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. is a founding member of ICMM and has been very active in all levels of the organization.  The Freeport organization, through its many years experience implementing sustainable development initiatives in Indonesia, has provided input instrumental in the development of Good Practice Guidelines, including the 2008 publication on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.  Freeport President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Adkerson currently serves as ICMM Chairman.
