ICMM's Kathryn McPhail at State of the Planet conference
Senior Program Director Kathryn McPhail presented at a two-day conference co-organised by the Earth Institute at Columbia University and The Economist newspaper, in New York last week. She presented as part of a panel addressing conflict.
The conference had 2000 attendees, and presenters included Kofi Annan, Jan Egeland, and Jeffrey Sachs. Panels on eradicating poverty, addressing conflict and identifying energy solutions for sustainable development, were chaired by senior correspondents from The Economist.
