Resource Endowment initiative - second multi-stakeholder workshop
Over 50 participants from across the world representing the mining industry, government, NGOs, labour organizations and donor agencies discussed a draft Synthesis Report from this project. This is the second multi-stakeholder workshop for the project and the purpose was to seek views from stakeholders on the draft Synthesis report and discuss future cooperative work.
The report was warmly welcomed. During the day, participants debated issues raised by the report, areas for further research and planned how to implement the recommendations.
The feedback from this session is for use during Phase Three of the project to revise the draft Synthesis Report, define key areas for further research and prepare the first steps of implementation.
