ICMM presents a preview of upcoming closure planning report at APEC workshop

ICMM Program Director Christine Copley presented a preview of the forthcoming report on Integrated Closure Planning at the APEC 'Life of Mine Planning' Workshop held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 20 - 23 November 2007.

The 3 day workshop was organized and hosted by the Australian Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources in conjunction with the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, was attended by around 70 participants from across South-East Asia. Participants - mostly ministry staff - were particularly keen to hear of the practical guidance soon to be available from ICMM for closure planning considerations, as well as recent work on financial assurance considerations.

The ICMM Integrated Closure Planning report will be available in early 2008. If you would like to pre-order a copy, please contact us at info@icmm.com
