ICMM President addresses Sustainable Minerals Institute
ICMM President Paul Mitchell addressed the University of Queensland's Sustainable Minerals Institute in Brisbane on 26 July.
His presentation to faculty and students described the evolution of the international mining industry from prior to the Global Mining Initiative (1999) to today.
In the evening Paul presented at a function organized by the Queensland Resources Council, on the recent major changes in the international mining industry, likely future trends, and the qualities that companies will require to be successful in the future.
