ICMM President Paul Mitchell took part in a panel session on corporate accountability at the 7th Civicus World Assembly in Glasgow on 24 May.

The assembly is a forum for international civil society representatives to get together, exchange ideas and build strategies for a just world.

ICMM was one of the few business representatives invited to address the assembly. The 350 delegates included representatives of many of the leading international civil society organizations.

In a panel session entitled "Corporate accountability: Getting to the raw truth", Paul Mitchell presented the business case for public accountability and good practice in sustainable development performance.
