GRI-ICMM Sector Supplement Working Document
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and ICMM multi-stakeholder Working Group has met twice as part of the process of developing a Mining and Metals Supplement to the 2002 GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. A working document summarising the status of the Group's deliberations is now available.
The material in the document is still under discussion and does not necessarily represent a consensus of the Working Group. It is an interim document that will continue to evolve through subsequent Working Group meetings and through public input and suggestions.
The document is being posted in the spirit of transparency. Following their next meeting, which is scheduled for 27-28 April 2004, the Working Group expects to release a consultation draft to commence a formal public comment period of approximately 90 days. However, any comments and reactions on the working document before then are welcomed and will be provided to the working group. Contact details are provided in the document.
