ICMM launches Portuguese version of mine closure toolkit in Brazil
The Portuguese-language version of the Planning for Integrated Mine Closure: toolkit was released at the 13th Brazilian Mining Congress (EXPOSIBRAM) in Belo Horizonte.
ICMM’s Fernanda Diez presented the new toolkit on a panel on mine closure at the event held on 21 September.
ICMM took part in two other sessions at the event hosted by ICMM member association the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM). President Anthony Hodge gave a keynote speech on mining and sustainability and Paul Hollesen (AngloGold Ashanti) presented on ICMM’s Sustainable Development framework.
