WORK PROGRAMS

Social and economic development

ICMM's socio-economic development work program is aimed at maximizing the contribution of industry to the countries and communities where our members operate.

We believe that socio-economic development at the national and local levels depends on strong relationships between mining companies, communities, government and multi-lateral agencies.

In developing our projects, we build and develop working relationships with organizations such as the World Bank, UNCTAD, UNEP and the World Conservation Union (IUCN).
