Good Practice Guidance for Mining and Biodiversity
The Good Practice Guidance for Mining and Biodiversity was published as part of an extensive dialogue between ICMM and the World Conservation Union (IUCN), which has been set up to explore different aspects of biodiversity conservation in the mining and metals sector.
The guide provides an informative, accessible and highly practical reference source on biodiversity which can be used by mining companies at all stages of their operations, from initial exploration to mine closure planning and implementation.
