MEMBER ADMISSION PROCESS

In May 2011, ICMM’s Council of CEOs approved a new member admission process, which clarifies existing procedures in a transparent and rigorous manner.

The member admission process comprises five stages:

1) applicants submit information in support of an application

2) the submitted information is assured by an independent third party

3) an independent expert panel assesses the prospective member’s suitability for membership and issues a recommendation

4) a decision is made by ICMM

5) ongoing monitoring of member performance consistent with existing ICMM reporting and assurance process.
